At TORFEO, we understand that our customers have different preferences when it comes to payment methods. For your convenience, we offer a unique “Pay on Delivery” method to provide added flexibility. With this payment option, you can place an order and pay for it at the point of delivery. However, please note the following terms and conditions specific to this payment method:
1. Minimum Deposit Requirement
To use the “Pay on Delivery” method, you are required to make a minimum deposit of ₦2,000 into TORFEO’s corporate bank account before your order is processed and shipped. This deposit declares your commitment and ensures that your order is reserved and ready for delivery.
2. Payment Process
When you place an order and select the “Pay on Delivery” option, you will receive instructions on how to make the minimum deposit. The deposit amount is a minimum of ₦2,000, and it must be transferred to TORFEO’s corporate bank account within 24 hours of placing your order. Please keep the deposit receipt as proof of payment.
3. Order Processing and Shipping
Once your minimum deposit is successfully received, your order will be processed and prepared for shipping. Please allow for the standard order processing times as indicated in our Shipping Policy.
4. Remaining Balance on Delivery
Upon successful receipt of the minimum deposit, your order will be processed and shipped. The remaining balance, which is the total order amount minus the minimum deposit, will be collected in cash/transfer at the point of delivery.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
- If you choose the “Pay on Delivery” method and subsequently decide to cancel your order before it is shipped, you will be eligible for a refund of your minimum deposit.
- If you decide to cancel your order after it has been shipped, and your initial deposit exceeds the shipping fee, you are eligible for a partial refund. The shipping fee will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be promptly refunded to your account.
- If you are not available or knowingly avoid calls/texts from the courier company at the time of delivery and your order is returned, you are also eligible for a partial refund if your initial deposit exceeds the shipping and return fees. The aforementioned fees will be deducted, and the balance refunded to your account.
6. Payment Confirmation
Our customer support team will confirm the receipt of your deposit via email. Then, on delivery, the delivery personnel from the courier company will receive and verify the remaining balance. Once the remaining balance is paid, your order will be handed over to you.
7. Eligibility
Please note that the “Pay on Delivery” method is available for eligible orders and delivery locations. We reserve the right to determine the eligibility of this payment method based on your location and order details.
By selecting the “Pay on Delivery” method and making the minimum deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions.
